For the
spunge
In a
glass puddinge bowl, mix together all the ingredients.
The mixture should have the consistency of stirred
youhurt, not too thick. Sift in a little more flour, or
add more lemon juice as necessary. Leave to fester for 20
minutes or so, (if you have the time) or continue
straight away if not. Then simply bung it in the
microwave for about 4 minutes in an 800 Watt oven. Times
do vary, you'll soon learn.

For the
custid
Measure 3 heaped
teaspoonfulls of cornflour in a jug. From a measured half
pint of milk mix to a paste, then stir in the rest of the
milk. Add 2 teaspooons of sugar, and the juice and zest
of yet another lemon (or 2). At this pont the whole lot
may curdle and separate, it matters not a jot. Bung the
mixture into a saucepan, and stir CONTINUOUSLY over a
very low heat untill it thickens. If the mixture had
separated it will recombine nicely, just keep stirring
until smooth. Add more sugar to taste.
