Inserting Movies in PowerPoint Presentations (For PC)

Launch the PowerPoint presentation into which you are inserting your movie. On the bar at the top of the PowerPoint window, click "Insert" then "Movies and Sounds" then "Movie from File..." Go to the folder in which you have stored your movie file, select it and click "ok" The first frame of the movie will appear in your slide, and you will be given the option of having the movie play automatically. Click yes or no as appropriate

If you then right click on the movie image further options are available.
Remember that although the movie plays within PowerPoint, the WMV file remains separate. If you copy your presentation to another machine, you must also copy the movie file. Always test the presentation on the machine at your lecture venue.
